This marvellous course looks like a huge 100-year old park. On pastureland bordered by the pond «Bredenbeker Teich», which has to be crossed twice on your round, this course was created under the supervision of the German architect Bernhard von Limburger and he made excellent use of the typical topography of the North-German landscape, the so-called "Knicks". Fairways partly lined by old trees, water hazards, bushes and the strategically protected greens are the main obstacles, thus offering a high golfing challenge to players of all standards. Although the start off might promise an easy round, the first impression soon has to be revised. Latest at hole no. 11 the player decides on to return to Ahrensburg for another game.
