The Aachener 1927 Golf Club is situated close to the Netherlands and Belgiums border in a charming, gently hilly landscape. The older part of the course, built around the club house includes wonderful trees, whereas the newly planted ones of the younger part of the course still have to grow a bit. Two artificial biotopes are the only water hazards. Good players may not have any major problems. Relatively small greens, in part narrow fairways bordered by deep rough especially in the summer months may challenge the average player particularly when there is a strong wind. Despite its slightly hilly terrain the course can be mastered without a caddy.
