Although the golf course of Montreux is laid out amidst the Alps, it is a flat course. With the Bernese Alps to the north, the French Alps to the southwest and the massif of the Great St. Bernhard to the south there are impressive and splendid views of these mountain ranges. Experienced golfers as well as newcomers will find a nice and pleasant place here. Magnificent trees, such as chestnuts, birches and beeches, and old oaks line the fairways and often force a dogleg. Strategically placed bunkers and the many raised greens contribute to an interesting game. Courses nearby: Lausanne, Domaine Impérial.
