Comments/Description
This links-style course is hilly, yet not too difficult to walk. There are plenty of natural and man-made bunkers, but no water hazards, trees or out-of-bounds stakes in play. The greens are undulating and fast, and vary from small to large in size. The signature hole is #18, a 467-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot up a slight dogleg left fairway featuring a sand bunker extending all the way up the left side until you reach the elevated green. This exclusively private club doesn't plan on obtaining slope or course ratings for any of its tees. "Golf Digest" rated this as the "Best New Private Course" in America for 1995, and it was also named the "Best in State" course for 1997-98. "GOLF MAGAZINE" named it 10th on their list of "Top 100 Courses in the U.S." for 1997 and 8th for 1999. The scorecard doesn't show handicaps for individual holes. Guests and club members are allowed to walk the course; however, caddies are only available from June 1 through August 15.
While every effort has been made to assure accuracy, we advise you to check all information with the golf course before booking your tee-time or driving to the course.
