This eighteen-hole course, built on the «Scheierhaff»-estate on an area of some 100 hectares/247 acres, ranks among the most beautiful and modern in Europe. It was planned for hosting important competitions. The golf course was designed by the Japanese architect Iwao Uematsu who has been planning golf courses since 1956. It has 5 water hazards and 89 bunkers which guarantee an interesting round. The narrow fairways are well protected by plenty of fairway-bunkers, the greens are vast and undulating. The course is a real challenge because it constantly requires technical skill and strength. It also meets beginners' and established players' need by offering them an excellent training. The Clubhouse is ideally situated in the middle of the golfing complex. It offers a lot of facilities meeting golfers' needs and desires. The "Eagle" bar, only reserved to members and golfers offers a panoramic view and is directly accessible from hole number 18. Here you can regain strength with special "golf-snacks" and quench your thirst after your play. In winter you can meet golf-friends round an open fire place and in summer enjoy the superb terrace. The golf school is open to everyone. It offers different tuition programmes such as group lessons or intensive weekend courses.
