This club has three nine-hole courses that are played as three eighteen-hole combinations. The courses are set in a hilly and wooded landscape, in beautiful surroundings. Many features of the course may remind of golf courses in England or Scotland. Its three loops of nine holes are considerably different from each other. On the Blue Course hole no. 2, a par 3, has a narrow fairways which is delicately tree-lined, the green is defended by two bunkers. Hole no. 4 has an uphill start; a bunker to the right makes the first shot dangerous, but you must also pay attention to the water stream on the left side. Hole no. 8 starts uphill, very spectacular, but without any major difficulties. A water hazard fronts the uphill green. On the Yellow Course one of the most interesting holes is no. 4 with a water hazard which runs on the right, crosses the fairway and, then, keeps coasting it on the left and a ditch that is about 30 yards from the green. On the Red Course there is the delicate 7th, with an out-of-bounds on the right, a lake on the left, and two crossing water streams that surround the first shot area. The tee-shot is uphill. The round end with a par 4, uphill and with a water hazard throughout the fairway on the first shot, and a green that is strongly defended by bunkers. L'Albenza is known as one of the best courses in Italy and has been the venue of many national and international events. Other amenities include: Babysitting, TV-room. Other attractions: A visit to the beautiful city of Bergamo with its wonderful architectural monuments of classical Italy, and beautiful places like the «Piazza Vecchia» in the centre of the historic city, the «Academia Carrara» with paintings by Veronese, Botticelli and Raphael and many other cultural monuments.
While every effort has been made to assure accuracy, we advise you to check all information with the golf course before booking your tee-time or driving to the course.
